The Koran
1. If
you are a believer of Allah and if you praise him, you will be happy because he
will be with you and guide you throughout life. Man’s responsibility to Allah
is to not lose faith and to always praise him. Man should never deceive Allah,
because he knows all things. It’s almost like man needs to fear their ruler and
follow all his teachings.
2. Women
need to purify themselves and believe in the Lord. Once she has done that, a
man can pursue her for marriage. Women and men are also not equal. Men have
advantages over women. In fact, the text says, “They are a hurt and a
pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them
until they’re clean” (page 239).
3. The
people from The Book are the people from the text, like Mary, Moses, etc. Their
relationship to the revelation of Allah and to those who accept Islam is that
when they do what they are asked of, and then they are blessed.
4. It
seems that the view of god and mortality deal with having trust in the lord, to
not doubt his power, and not to lose faith or be an unbeliever.
5. Advice
that the Koran gives to the Christians is to generally live a good life. For
example, don’t boast, speak the truth, do not deceit others, have humility, and
other morals.
6. People
should accept it because they don’t want to be forsaken. People should also
accept it because they’ll be saved and be preserved for god. Also, if you
believe and have faith in god, then he promises that he will walk with you, aid
you, etc.
7. Muhammad
and other prophets are sent down from Allah to preach the word from their lord.
They act as the lord’s mouthpiece, I guess you could say.
8. The
evidence is that millions of people believe in Allah today. They are following
his words from the Koran, and Allah’s believers are living his words and
staying faithful. Also, more evidence is that Allah sent revelation to Muhammad
and he preached his word to the world.
